Hello Baltimore area! I’ll be taking photography clients until the end of August. Go check out some of my work on my Behance site and on my official Facebook page.
For my EMAC final, I created a consent awareness campaign designed to spell out, in simple language, what consent means.
Untitled
2014
Cardboard, paper
No title, but does require some explanation: for sculptural forms, I was tasked to scale up an ubiquitous object and install it in a setting appropriate to the object. I chose a tampon because while it is ubiquitous for a woman, it isn’t for a man. By placing this in a male-dominated space, I want to make this object part of a man’s everyday as well as a woman’s, though in a different way.
“Secondary Succession”
2014
Ash, clay, flower pot
In response to a prompt to create a 3D toy based on childhood experiences. This piece draws on my loss of a close friend at age 11 and my struggle with anxiety disorders after the fact.
“Plain”
2014
Paper
In response to a prompt to make a paper sculpture using no traditional adhesives. I created the 3D figure by stringing paper disks onto a paper straw.
